Description
Drip tube is considered a relatively cheap drip irrigation technology. Only drip tape is cheaper. The average wall thickness of the drip tube is 0.8 mm.
There are two types of drip tube: with built-in drippers; blind drip tube.
Drip tube with built-in drippers (emitters) – drippers (emitters) are installed inside the drip tube at certain fixed distances. The distances between the emitters are different, but they are always the same length at 20, 30, 50, 100 cm.
The principle of operation of the drip tube is similar to the principle of operation of the drip tape.
If necessary (usually at the end of the season), the drip tube can be dismantled without any special difficulties and damage and re-mounted the next year. This mobility and flexibility is a significant advantage of drip tubing over using drip tape.
